Interesting Pakistan Poll Results


These poll results have been taken from a recent article in the New York Times
19 percent of Pakistanis approve of President Asif Ali Zardari.
80 percent of Pakistanis had supported the February peace deal with the Taliban in the Swat region;
74 percent of Pakistanis felt the deal would bring peace in the region.
10 percent of Pakistanis believe that terrorism is the nation's most pressing problem.
69 percent of Pakistanis agreed that the Taliban and al Qaida operating in Pakistan was a serious problem.
37 percent of Pakistanis support cooperation with the US on counter-terrorism.
81 percent of Pakistanis believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.
77 percent of Pakistanis want to live in a democratic setup.
74 percent of Pakistanis agreed that religious extremism is a serious problem in Pakistan.
56 percent of Pakistanis would support Taliban demands to extend Islamic law (Shari'ah) to other parts of the country, including major cities like Lahore or Karachi.


I liked to know that 74 percent of Pakistanis agreed that religious extremism is a serious problem in Pakistan, open minded people are always welcome

Pra começar eu nem entendo pq diabos chamam de democracia de a tal da Bhutto e o que veio depois fazem e acontecem do jeito que querem. Isso não é democracia.
Gente hipócrita. Tiraram o Musharraf e tão fazendo pior... credo.
